niah 8/28/07

I added Niah's picture to the header, it seems so large (No comments Caiiler!). I will probably remove it later. It was taken last year on our anniversary which is just a few days away (Thurs, 28th). Oh, did I hear you say you'd babysit?

First Day of Pre-K

Finally the day has arrived. Niah is in school full time, attending Holy Trinity Episcopal. During our first visit and others that followed, Niah was always excited about going to this school. She has been wanting "to wear one of those shirts". We just completed her first week and it seems that all went well. As you are probably already aware of Niah's strong desire to be, first the winner or line leader and her take charge attitude, she was all over the place. Once we got her going in the right direction she calmed down a bit.

*Side note: I didn't want to delay posting any longer but I tried to get video loaded but it wouldn't work ;-(

pump it up!

Ok, let's start this blog with photos of Niah's 4th birthday party. When I began planning months in advance for this event, I wanted to have the old fashioned party with sack races, pin the tiara on the princess etc, etc, etc. I wanted to go all out for the "Princen" seeing as how she hadn't had a "real" party in 3 years. Then, the great flood of '08 occurred and we had to rethink the locale (thank God for small favors). So, we picked Pump it Up! where it seemed that everyone had a great time.

Up but not running

I am going to attempt this blogging thing again. It's been over 3 years, and I hope that I can keep up. My life is a tad bit more hectic, but we'll give it a go. So, I have the blogspot "up", we've got to get to the point where we are "running". In the meantime, enjoy these few pics of our trip to Branson this summer.
